I wish I was able to say some of these things also. It’s not that I wouldn’t WANT to, or that I wouldn’t want to give eReleases a second try …
We did get some response (one radio interview and a request to write an article for a local magazine) but we were expecting much more. Our product is being reviewed now by a company who may promote it for us. If this happens we would like to be able to send out another press release, but right now we have exhausted all our marketing dollars and most of our life savings (really!). So, we are taking things “one day at a time” and seeing what happens.
I think that by reading some of your testimonials, honestly, we were made to expect a lot more than most people probably experience. I think that for repeat customers, this isn’t such a good idea to give them such high expectations to start with. Then again, maybe we are just a company who was the exception and who just didn’t generate much interest in the press (as much as we expected anyway).
I think that maybe if you offered a second press release to new customers, it could possibly prove to them that (maybe?) it takes more than one try to generate interest? I don’t know. This is the first time I have ever done this kind of thing before, so I don’t really know.
Anyway, that is my feedback. Thanks for asking for feedback. Sorry it’s not something you can use to generate more business, but maybe it can help in some way. (-:
