I hired a “specialty entertainment publicist” for my rock band, shelled out my $1,200, and got nothing for it.
Not one single pickup.

Within 10 days we had articles in the Washington Post, the SJ Mercury News (plus a follow-up article), and the online versions of Spin, Wired, Billboard, the BBC and MSNBC, plus a bunch of blogs.
