LOS ANGELES, Aug 3, 2012 — Steven Hacker, CAE, the long-time president of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), will begin the next stage of his professional career as a columnist and resident association management expert for Association News magazine. Hacker, who will leave the organization on September 30, will make his debut as "The Association Doctor" in the October issue of Association News.
"In the next chapter of my career, I want to help educate future generations of association leaders by sharing the things I've learned over the years," said Hacker. "Some of these lessons involve subjects that even the industry organizations do not discuss.
