Winners Chosen Daily & Weekly

Each contest day will run from midnight to midnight, and the contest week will run from Monday through Sunday.  Each morning a daily press release distribution winner will be chosen, and each Monday morning a PC winner will be chosen.  The winners will be listed on this site, and we’ll send a notice to contestants by Twitter and email, as well.

How Is The Winner Chosen?

All winners will be selected randomly.  All entries for the day or week, including multiple entries, will be placed in a single list, with one entry in each row.  Using the form at http://www.random.org/ CrowdFuel will set the Min to “1″ and the Max to the total number of rows in the weekly entry list. CrowdFuel will then hit the “Generate” button. The resulting random number will be used to denote the row which contains the winning entry.  (If the entry selected is from a partner or employee of eReleases, who are ineligible for this contest, the process will be repeated.)

The Rules

  1. Each time you tweet either of the messages as described above the tweet will be counted as one entry. There is no limit to how many times you can tweet. (We search for the “daily” tweets using twitter search commands - the time used by twitter search is based days starting / ending at GMT 00:00)
  2. When you subscribe to the email list, that will count as one entry.
  3. When you place both links on your website or blog, and inform us using the signup form above, this will count as five entries daily starting from the time you let us know, every day until the 11 week contest ends. The links must appear on a page that is navigable on your site or otherwise is indexed in the search engines.
  4. When you place the bookmarks in your Delicious account and inform us using the signup form, this will count as two entries daily starting from the time you let us know, every day until the 11 week contest ends.
  5. Winners of prizes will be published daily on this site and will be contacted via email within one business day of the award.  Winners of the free press release distribution must submit their press release for distribution within 30 days of the award.  Winners of the free netbook must provide a valid United States shipping address within 7 days of the award.
  6. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: All taxes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.  Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules, the eReleases Terms of Service, the eReleases Privacy Policy and by the decisions of eReleases, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest.  eReleases is not responsible if a prize cannot be awarded due to delays, technical problems or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism.
