ZeroDesktop Bundles ThinkFree's Web-based Office Productivity Tools with New ZeroPC 'Transferable Desktop' in the Cloud

Provides High-Quality, Microsoft-compatible Online Office Suite at No Additional Cost to ZeroPC Consumers, Schools and Business Users

SAN FRANCISCO, March 29, 2011 — Web 2.0 Expo – ZeroDesktop™, Inc., provider of revolutionary, next-generation Web Desktop solutions, today announced that it has integrated its new cloud-based ZeroPC™ "transferable desktop" with a complete Microsoft Office-equivalent productivity suite developed by ThinkFree, giving ZeroPC users familiar tools to easily create, open, view and edit their files using any Web browser.

The combination of ZeroPC (http://www.zeropc.com) cloud computing and the integrated ThinkFree (http://www.thinkfree.com) Online Office suite provides significantly higher compatibility with Microsoft Office documents and ease-of-use than other currently available online productivity and collaboration tools. Unlike these other services, ZeroPC does not require end-users to have dedicated email accounts, and has eliminated the complexities of sign-up and installation processes.

The addition of ThinkFree's Online Office to ZeroPC provides consumers, schools and business users with familiar productivity tools that work in a browser to create word processing documents, spreadsheets and graphic presentations, or to open, edit and share existing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents previously created on local computers. ZeroPC users do not need to pay any extra licensing fees for the robust capability of ThinkFree office productivity tools, and no additional software installations are required to have instant access to create and share documents and files anywhere.

Launching this week at the Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco, ZeroPC is a revolutionary lifetime desktop in the cloud that is designed to change the way that users share their digital content with friends and colleagues. Consumers, schools and business users can easily unify documents, photos, videos, email and social content in one secure repository for accessing and sharing with others using any browser and Web-enabled device, or collaborate with others by transferring their entire desktop experience online. ZeroPC requires no subscription fees – end-users simply pay-as-they-go for the amount of service needed.

"Offering ZeroPC users a suite of productivity tools that look, feel and deliver the performance of familiar MS Office software enhances the day-to-day functionality of ZeroPC that consumers, schools and business users want and need to be instantly productive," said Young Song, CEO of ZeroDesktop, Inc.

ZeroPC also includes ThinkFree's Conversion Server, an easily integrated Java component that delivers unsurpassed conversion quality when rendering Microsoft Office files into Web-friendly formats so that their appearance is the same as when they were created offline. End-users experience increased productivity since they no longer need to switch back and forth between applications.

"We are pleased to offer ZeroPC users the most accurate Microsoft Office-compatible productivity suite on the market today," said HongGoo Lee, CEO of ThinkFree. "Integrating our Online Office and Conversion Server with users' Web-based applications provides a powerful, easy-to-use solution with no limitation on hardware platforms."
