NEW YORK, Dec. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Stress is one undeniable part of the holiday season. However many busy women who are juggling careers and families can reduce tension with stress-reduction tips from healer Sylvia Moss.

"Our wondrous bodies are filled with so much wisdom and joy, but then trauma and physical pain blocks us from our true essence," said Moss, a noted healer, photographer and author of "Angels of New York," a photographic journey of angels in the architecture in New York City.

"No matter what your situation, you can have greater physical health, emotional comfort, and spiritual connection through Alchemy Energetic Healing which works with your body's innate ability to heal and repair itself. I don't diagnose ailments or prescribe medication. Instead, I act as a guide to facilitate your individual path to healing," said Moss.

Moss, OM, BHS, is an accomplished sound healer and spiritual teacher with a passion for helping others grow and transform. Her extensive training in a variety of techniques allows her to facilitate many different facets of healing and spiritual growth.

Moss is founder of Alchemy Energetic Healing and maintains an active international healing practice. Additionally she is an ordained interfaith minister and Crystal Singing Bowl Master and is well known for her extraordinary group and individual vibrational sound healing sessions.

Here are three tension-reducing techniques to help make for a happier holiday season.

  1. Before going to work or starting your day sit for 5-10 minutes in a quiet soothing environment or space. Take three deep breaths then make a loud sound that releases your stress. Do this three times. Some people then chant one OM.
  2. Allow your energy to flow down through the bottom of your feet deep into the earth. This grounds you. Sit in this grounded place for 5 to 15 minutes or longer. This can be done following the previous tip and several times through out your day if you choose.
  3. At end of day, take a hot bath with one pound each of sea salt and baking soda added. You can also add a few drops of therapeutic essential oils of your liking. Do this bath one to two times a week or as needed. Shower at the end, towel dry and go to bed for a deep restful sleep

Sylvia works with both your physical and energetic bodies by employing a combination of highly skilled techniques: laying-on of hands, sound healing, Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls, chakra calibrating and energy field balancing, shamanic tools and guiding. She uses her expertise to target the right combination of techniques to clear energy blocks and align your body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Since every individual and situation is unique, no two sessions are the same.

Her treatments are designed for people who have physical and emotional issues including: depression, anxiety, grief, deep sadness, or anger. She also works with people who deal with spiritual or life issues including health issues, money problems, difficulty in relationships, finding your life purpose or fear of expressing yourself.

"I believe that living an authentic and energetically attuned life is essential to healing. I see life as a spiritual journey of discovery," she said. My greatest joy is being a vehicle and witness for my clients as they heal, discover themselves, and attain their dreams."
