World Champion Tampa Bay Inks Saint-Michaels

Standout Wide Receiver Makes 2010 STORM Debut!

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 14, 2010 — Today, the Tampa Bay Storm(TM) organization, led by Head Coach and General Manager Tim Marcum, along with Scene 1 Sports Management… are very pleased to announce that Wide Receiver T. Saint-Michaels is now officially #80 on the 2010 Tampa Bay Storm roster, following marathon negotiations throughout December and early January of this year.

Saint-Michaels, most recently of the Arena Bowl Champion Albany Firebirds, surprised coaches and fans alike in his pre-season play there. As a walk-on during open tryouts following Albany's move to Indianapolis, free agent Saint-Michaels quickly proved to be one of the quickest, most agile members of the Firebird's offense in early season play. A veteran of multiple NFL combines… at 6 – 0 and 228 lbs, Saint-Michaels' brawn and smash-mouth style of play is ideally suited for the narrow lanes and short field of Arena Football.

Saint-Michaels' world-class athletic performance spans far beyond the gridiron and includes triathlon, Golden Gloves, lacrosse, track and field, and even adventure pursuits like motorsport and high-altitude skydiving. His pulse-pounding escapades have been chronicled (and even sponsored) by a who's who of today's top men's magazines and digital media entities, including Weider Publications, Men's Fitness, Details, Slacker Radio, and a host of others.

On a business note, Saint-Michaels play at Tampa Bay brings more than TWO MILLION DOLLARS in demographically matched advertising and media credit to his potential sponsors and team allies… through his agent's management firm, Scene 1 Sports. "Saint-Michaels' sponsor-support package is completely tangible and ROI-driven on the front end; reaching more than 30 million consumers (guaranteed) each month in 2010," says Scene 1 Sports' Player-Strategy Executive, Rena Goldstein. "Having previously utilized our similar NFL and Indycar programs to leverage sponsor's products into more than 9000 stores, Scene 1 Sports believes the new AF1 represents an extraordinary vehicle (and value) for those companies wishing to extend their professional football affiliations post-Super Bowl this year."

Head Coach Tim Marcum, easily recognized as the most successful coach in Arena Football history, and now in his 15th year, has nothing but glowing praise for his newest Storm addition… "Saint-Michaels' extraordinary athleticism, strength and speed will be a powerful weapon in our game plan, both on the ground and in the air. We're anxious to get him on the field…" says Marcum.

The Storm organization is recognized as one of the leading teams in the Arena Football League, setting numerous attendance records in its 19-year history. The team also won World Championships in 1991, 1993, 1995, 1996 and 2003, winning the last Championship in front of a sell-out crowd of 20,496 at the St. Pete Times Forum.

Beginning immediately, fans can place a $25 deposit on season tickets for the 2010 Tampa Bay Storm season by calling 813.301.6600. Season ticket prices have been reduced significantly in all seating areas for the 2010 season compared to previous years… and a new, family-friendly indoor tailgate area is also being added to the St. Pete Times Forum for Storm fan's enjoyment.
