Thirty-two year veteran with C level experience at related multi-national firms joins pet food company Wild Calling as its Vice President
GREELEY, Colo., March 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Wild Calling Pet Foods today announced that John Ray will join the company as corporate vice president of product development and national sales. Ray will lead Wild Calling's efforts to penetrate the market in offering "premium pet foods at a palatable price." He will also help the company distribute its products in the United States and Canada as well as overseas into targeted upscale markets.

The startup pet food company intends to achieve rapid recognition as a supplier of 96% real meat pet food at affordable prices. Hiring Ray was a strategic step in its roll out of the pioneering brand, as the VP's considerable experience and stature will nicely compliment that of the company's founder and president, Tim Petersen.
Tim had been a respected distributor of natural pet foods for decades and was inspired to create this new brand upon feedback from the market that said "give us a healthy food, with no fillers, and nothing fake – at a price that's easy to swallow.'"
Now he and Ray will move forward together to seek to fill that obvious market demand.
