Which Cities and Towns Will Art Collectors Name a 2007 Top 25 Arts Destination?
BALTIMORE, Nov. 22, 2006 — National elections may be over, but arts lovers and enthusiasts across the country can still cast their vote for the nation’s top arts destinations in AmericanStyle magazine’s Top 25 Arts Destinations readers poll.
AmericanStyle magazine, the nation’s premier arts lifestyle and art travel publication for art collectors, enthusiasts and travelers, opened the poll in early October. Voters can visit http://www.AmericanStyle.com to select their favorite arts destinations in three categories based on city size.
A paper ballot will also be available in the February 2007 issue of AmericanStyle magazine, on newsstands in late December 2006. Voting in this year’s poll ends February 1, 2007. One lucky voter will be chosen at random to receive a $500 travel gift certificate.
Last year, art collectors loved New York, N.Y., which held its ground for a third consecutive year as the nation’s top arts destination in the Big Cities category. Buffalo, N.Y., shot up 22 spots from its 2005 ranking to capture No. 1 in the Mid-Sized Cities category. Santa Fe, N.M., climbed 15 spots from its 2005 ranking, winning the No. 1 spot in the Small Cities and Towns category.
The poll’s results and profiles of the highest-ranking arts cities in each category will be featured at http://www.AmericanStyle.com and in the June 2007 issue of AmericanStyle magazine, on newsstands in late April.
