United Screens, Swedish Media Company Focused on the YouTube Market, Announces Possible Signing of the Mysterious and Incredible Tumba Ping Pong Show

Shadowy ping-pong virtuosos rack up impressive two million YouTube views and announce upcoming season of stunts sure to push the boundaries of crazy, dangerous stunts even further

STOCKHOLM, Oct. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — For over a year the mysterious performance group Tumba Ping Pong Show has caught viewers' attention on YouTube with their impressive ping-pong tricks. Each film creates more questions than answers and information about the group is scarce and sketchy. Now Swedish YouTube MCN, United Screens, is confident that they have signed with the group of artists.

The past two days the group's latest video, Miss Ping, has caught the attention of over two million viewers, this after they appeared in international and Swedish media. The group seems to consist of six people who most likely are based in Tumba (as indicated by their name). The media describes them as Swedes, so it should be Tumba in Stockholm, although there are also places called Tumba found in Angola, Macedonia and Serbia.

"We're really happy to sign with United Screens. Or at least I am, sometimes it's hard to tell if the team is happy or not. I got a few thumbs up from the team, and that is usually a good thing," says Jim Fitzgerald, spokesperson for Tumba Ping Pong Show

Tumba Ping Pong Show has posted YouTube videos since 2011 but has recently met an increased international interest. Last Sunday they figured in the South American channel Globo, the world's second largest TV channel, in the program Detetive Virtual, who tried to crack the mystery behind their films.

"We are impressed with Tumba Ping Pong Show. After each video, we sit and wonder how they managed to do the trick. We have met with one of the artists that we have seen in their videos, and we got this quote for the release from a man who calls himself Jim Fitzgerald. So I'm quite confident that we have signed an agreement with Tumba Ping Pong show for United Screens," says Malte Andreasson, Director of programming, United Screens.

The mysterious group has gained increasing international attention and is to appear in a major U.S. show during this autumn. The group has announced that they are working on a third season of stunts that will further push the boundaries for what is considered crazy and dangerous.
