About the Author:

Life wasn't always easy for Vien Bui and the life he lives now came through a beginning of hardships and a life full of hard work. Bui was born December 12, 1954 in Vietnam. Bui escaped the Communist Regime by boat on November 18, 1979. As fate would have it, Bui was rescued from an English oil ship within international waters in the Pacific. He then spent almost two years in two different refugee camps in Malaysia and the Philippines.

Eventually Bui was sponsored by the Harmons, a wonderful American Family in New Jersey and was able to settle in the US in the summer of 1980. Bui had worked extremely hard to support his school, and graduated from Western Washington University with a BS Degree in Computer Science in 1985. Throughout the course of his life, Bui had worked for companies like Boeing and GTE up until 1997, when he left the 8-5 job to becoming a full-time Commercial Real Estate Investor. More recently, Bui is a published author.
