TechKnowledge Enhances Its Electronic Library Search Functions with Deep Web Technologies

SANTA FE, N.M., Oct. 28, 2010 — Deep Web Technologies announced today that it has entered into a partnership with TechKnowledge, a custom library management service operating in North Africa, the Middle East and regions along the Persian Gulf. Through the partnership, Deep Web Technologies’ powerful, core federated search engine will be integrated with TechKnowledge's front-end eLibrary Portal management solutions.

Founded September 2004 and based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, TechKnowledge specializes in designing electronic content solutions for academic and corporate libraries, hospitals, and government agencies. Its eLibrary Portal is customized for each client through a blend of technology, strategy and creativity to fully accommodate that client's time, budget and type of usage.

"TechKnowledge is committed to providing high-quality custom solutions for electronic content from the world's leading publishers," said Mohamad Al-Baghdadi, President and CEO of TechKnowledge. "Thanks to our partnership with Deep Web Technologies, instead of sifting through an array of ejournals, e-books, e-references and databases for information, our customers now have the means to simultaneously search those multiple content sources using one search form with all the results merged into a single results page."

"We are extremely pleased to be working with TechKnowledge, and this partnership will enable Deep Web Technologies to introduce our powerful, flexible federated search technology to a new geographical market, particularly since TechKnowledge plans to expand to other cities around the Middle East," said Abe Lederman, Deep Web Technologies' President and CTO. "Organizations that use our technology enjoy a custom solution that fits the specific needs of their end users, which made us the ideal partner for TechKnowledge."
