Talent Manager to Toddler Pageant Stars Calls It Quits

Toddlers and Tiaras' Heather Ryan makes drastic career change

DES MOINES, Iowa, May 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Five years and countless psychotic pageant mom meltdowns later, the Talent Manager who specialized in representing girls featured on Toddlers and Tiaras, Heather Ryan, has thrown in the towel. "I'm done, done, stick a fork in me, DONE," exclaimed Ryan when asked whether she planned to continue her career as a talent manager for young glitz pageant contestants.

Heather was recently offered the position as the Director of Marketing and Communications with The Great March for Climate Action (www.ClimateMarch.org), which she accepted. "I can't wait to work with something more predictable and stable than Pageant Moms, Climate Change!" Ryan quipped. "I simply cannot continue to assist Pageant Moms in their transformation to Stage Momsters, consequently ruining the childhood of the young clients for whom I work," Heather continued.

Heather is best known for her work with Toddlers and Tiaras and Eden's World stars, Eden and Mickie Wood. The change in profession does not come as too much a surprise to those who know the self-proclaimed "Lefty Loony." Her recently released Tell-All Book, "Unleashing a Momster" (www.UnleashingAMomster.com) and accompanying song and music video, "Momster" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WunIaSQ_TL4&feature=share&list=UUCz3KinJ2y0sVSUQuj66APg) chronicles the crazy extremes to which the trio went in the quest to create fame and fortune for the pageant stars. The book also explores the downfall of their relationship.

"When The New York Daily News named The Momster as one of the Top Ten WORST Moms (http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/hollywood-worst-moms-article-1.1338729) on Mother's Day, not only did I feel vindicated for writing my book, I also knew that it was time to change professions," Ms. Ryan elaborated. "Working to bring attention to the threat of Global Climate Change is such a better cause to work for than sacrificing childhoods to Media Whore Mothers," Ryan lamented. "I also sleep better at night knowing that I am making a positive impact in the world rather than contributing to the blight on the fabric of society."

On a related note, the court date for Ms. Ryan's claim against Mrs. Wood has been postponed until June 7, 2013. A continuance was granted upon a request via Mrs. Wood's attorney. Heather is seeking damages from Mickie's frivolous lawsuit in 2012, which was dropped after tens of thousands of dollars in attorney fees were amassed. Court permitting, media is welcome to attend the hearing to be held at 9 a.m. at the Riverpoint-Polk County Court Annex, 500 SW 7th Street, Suite 100, Des Moines, Iowa.
