HOUSTON, Oct. 23, 2009 — Joe Stough, Founder and Executive Vice President of Product Strategy for Syntex, joins an elite group of thought leaders in the industry to partake in the all-new Executive Edge Track at the NSC 2009 Congress & Expo. The Executive Edge Management track was developed to meaningfully and purposefully engage business leaders and advance EHS practices in businesses worldwide. An international panel of industry experts, who themselves have successfully driven business performance through EHS management, will spearhead this track. The agenda includes a series of presentations by CEOs and executives of top-performing companies, including Robert W. Campbell Award-winning organizations.
For the first time, workshops will be held to promote leader-to-leader dialogue. With a variety of panel discussions, technical sessions, and hands-on workshops, the 2-1/2 day Executive Edge track provides leaders with tools to lead their company toward world-class performance. The workshops will provide an opportunity for cross-sharing of EHS management approaches with the goal of improving EHS management in businesses worldwide. Mr. Stough’s Workshop A will be in Room 311E.
Mr. Stough will lead two separate sessions during this track. The first highlights “Leading-Edge Management: Using Leading Indicators to Guide Strategy” during Executive Edge Track A on October 26, 2009 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. His second session is a workshop by the same title on October 28th from 8:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. This session will include a discussion of breakthrough initiatives and continuous improvement effort as components of leading-edge management systems.
