SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 28, 2009 — Protocol Professionals, Inc., is pleased to announce the next International Protocol and Etiquette Certification Course, to be held on January 20, 21 and 22, 2010, at a unique venue on San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. This training course will provide participants with the tools to gain a competitive edge in business and social situations, whether in the United States or abroad.
In today’s challenging global environment, harmonious relationships are critical to establishing and maintaining successful ventures in business or in government. This course consists of three consecutive one-day modules: American Business & Social Protocol, International Protocol & Etiquette and Special Event Planning & Production. Throughout the course, participants will learn to:

- Exchange business cards for maximum affect
- Entertain confidently in business and social milieus
- Understand the art of toasting, gift-giving and non-verbal cues in different cultures

- Dine like a diplomat
- Understand precedence, seating guidelines and flag etiquette
- Manage VIP and dignitary visits
In addition to instructor-led presentations, the course will include luncheon tutorials by Victoria Barkan, Countess of Valencia; interactive exercises and role-playing; a comprehensive workbook with reference materials; a post-program consultation; and periodic mailings, tips and updates.
