New release of StudyManager highlights flexible workflow for efficient, low-cost radiology reporting

Physicians can now continue with the ease and simplicity of dictation, while transcriptionists leverage the power of StructuRad’s companion reporting product ReportNow. Transcriptionists use the unique "all-in-one" technology including speech recognition assisted transcription, dictation playback, macro-enriched reporting, and Microsoft(R) Word-based editor to quickly and accurately generate medical reports. Physicians may choose any combination of speech recognition, dictation, macro templates, Word-based editing, and structured reporting to quickly create final reports.

StudyManager workflow orchestration system is easy to use for managing the dictation, transcription and direct reporting processes. To start a dictation a physician simply says the study number and then dictates into a built-in recorder. Once dictated the transcriptionist worklist shows a "pending" status and opens the report. A built-in voice player plays back the dictation while the transcriptionist edits the report in ReportNow. When the report is saved it updates the worklist status. The radiologist worklist shows completed transcriptions ready to review, e-sign and e-distribute. StudyManager client pricing starts at $795 per workstation.
