San Diego's first retail solar store hosting an open house to celebrate the occasion
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 18, 2011 — Stellar Solar has announced the grand opening on of their new Stellar Solar Store, located at 4730 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, adjacent to SDG&E's new Energy Innovation Center. The open house will show off the first retail, open-to-the-public solar store in San Diego County. The Stellar Solar Store functions as a product showcase and design center where residential and commercial solar proposals are generated on-the-spot through state-of-the-art digital design tools. The opening of the Stellar Solar Store is another highlight in a year filled with them for Stellar Solar. The company has installed over 7 megawatts of residential and commercial solar in 2011.
The event will feature:
- Showroom tours
- Nissan Leaf and Mini E electric car test drives
- A solar panel desk give-away
- Complimentary food and beverages
- A Solar Power to the People shirt for all attendees
- The Stellar Solar Mobile Solar Station providing solar-powered desserts
