"The integration with Final Cut Pro X is a tremendous opportunity for all existing and future Splother artists," says Splother CEO Dave Durocher. "Their music will now be available to all Final Cut Pro X users around the world through a new plug-in that offers fast, affordable music licensing."

The Splother plug-in for Final Cut Pro X will be released in conjunction with a cloud-based redesign of the music licensing platform. The back-end has been completely redesigned to handle the increased traffic from this software integration.

"Using Splother in Final Cut Pro X is a dream come true for filmmakers," says noted producer/composer Ben Vaughn, who did all of the music for That 70's Show, Third Rock From The Sun and Men Behaving Badly. "I've watched many a director and editor place music from their CD collections into a scene only to find out later that they can't afford it. It can be devastating. This will go a long way toward making post-production faster and easier."
