Earlier this year, Smithers Quality Assessments was approached by National Exploration, Wells & Pumps (EWP), an exploratory drilling company, about certifying their quality management systems to the ISO 9001:2008. The audit was completed in September of this year and certification was issued to National EWP in mid-October, making this company one of the first exploratory drillers in the United States to obtain their ISO 9001:2008 certification.
With SQA's newly expanded scope of services, mining and quarrying (IAF 02) companies can now work with Smithers Quality Assessments when seeking certification to the following ISO standards:
