About the Authors: With 32 years of experience as a counselor, Al Foderaro has assisted individuals of all ages. He served as director of career services at County College of Morris (CCM) in Randolph, New Jersey, where he also taught the course Career Development: Theory and Practice. Foderaro has also held leadership positions in state and national organizations, served as project director for a nationally recognized school-to-work consortium and has been recognized for his contributions to the field of career development.
Denise Schmidt is currently director of career services at CCM, where she has counseled for more than 30 years. During her tenure at CCM, she has held positions of associate and assistant director of career services. Schmidt has held leadership positions in state and regional professional career and experiential education associations.
Foderaro and Schmidt co-founded Life Decisions Group, LLC, to advocate taking control of life through better choices. “It’s Your Decision” is their first book. It is currently being utilized to create cultures of student success in secondary schools and colleges.
