Site to Learn English TalktoCanada.com Adds 7 Languages to Meet Increased Global Demand for Online English Courses

TalktoCanada, a global leader in online English training, supports companies and students internationally learning English

OTTAWA, Oct. 27, 2010 — TalktoCanada general manager Marc Anderson today announced the addition of 7 new languages to its website (http://www.talktocanada.com/). The languages were implemented earlier this week, building on the company's commitment to provide best-in-class online English courses accessible to anyone.

The upgraded website makes it easier for a growing international customer base to find information and sign up for English speaking courses online. The new supported languages are German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Portuguese.

"As one of the fastest growing online English training companies in the world, the expansion of our website was necessary to respond to the increasing demand for our services. Our growth rate has been phenomenal, from just a handful of clients four years ago, to over 1,000 client hours per month," says Marc Anderson.

Practicing speaking English and learning languages over the Internet has become a recognized educational form with the evolution of voice over IP (VoIP) and video conference software such as Skype and WebEx.

TalktoCanada was established in 2006 and has trained students from over 80 countries. Corporate English training (http://www.talktocanada.com/corporate-training/) clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Ernst & Young, Novartis and Fidelity Investments.

A typical student with TalktoCanada takes 2 or 3 lessons a week and stays with the program for an extended period. Unlike other English training companies, TalktoCanada assigns teachers that remain with each student through the course of the program.

"The clients of TalktoCanada have come to appreciate that they will have just one teacher through the duration of the training. Some clients have stayed with us for almost 2 years," says Jillian Zavitz, Senior Teacher with TalktoCanada.

The updated site caters to a new audience who traditionally don't purchase language training or lessons online.

"Packed with useful information and a user interface that resonates, the site will be constantly updated, more attractive and accessible to our global audience," Anderson adds.

The expansion focus is part of TalktoCanada's ongoing efforts to create a vibrant and seamless English language training experience. The company has also introduced Spanish and Arabic services to aid clients in the sign-up process.
