New Singles Community Avalable Offering Unique Approach to Personality Equations, Horoscope-Based Matching and Social Gaming

30 Million Users is Goal of New Dating App

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Avalable (yes, without the i) is a community built for singles, and is available today on on iOS and Android. We have used many dating apps over the years, and we built Avalable because it is something we always wanted but never found. We know users want to meet and actually get to know new people – Avalable lets you chat, follow timelines, and play games together. We have designed Avalable from the ground up to minimize effort to interact, and we are thrilled that you liked it. In the past six months, we have seen as much as 80% of users who signed keep coming back to the service, which is unusually high for dating sites and apps.

We also have great news for those users who had found someone special from Avalable. We have added an option for users to identify themselves as taken. So users can now continue to enjoy the community and the many new features we are bringing, but the profiles will not show up for matches.

Here is how it works. Avalable will send daily matches to users based on compatibility scores, as well as users interaction with the other users. This way, we are able to suggest better and better matches each day. Our unique approach combines personality equations, Facebook social graphs, and computer pattern recognition to match people. Users can share updates and get notified when people comment on their posts. Similar to LINE and Facebook, users can send stickers and emoji for free.

Avalable's algorithm is derived from its co-founder's experience running a high-end matchmaking company called MeetNLunch. As co-founder of both Thai-based startups Avalable and MeetNLunch, Nikki Assavathorn told us, "MeetNLunch has proved itself very successful in helping people find love and marriages, but the service is limited to people who live specific locations." Wanting to create a more accessible platform for dating, Nikki started Avalable in early 2013.

Soon, Avalable will also offer horoscope-based matching, and social gaming on the platform. Top Tanapon, who created CandyMeleon, a game that had one million downloads in seven days, is overseeing the development of the social games, where users can chat and flirt with each other while playing the same game.

As part of this major update, the team has launched Avalable worldwide on iOS and Android, and expect to see 30 to 50 million active users across Asia, Europe and the U.S. in the next 3 years.
