EVANSTON, Ill., June 4, 2009 — Consumer review and ratings group SignatureForum has released its annual “Platinum Providers” list for physician offices and medical spas that offer minimally invasive aesthetic services. The Platinum Providers group represents the elite, SignatureCertified practices that have received the highest customer satisfaction ratings over the past year as scored by visiting customers. More than 400 aesthetic clinics were rated by consumers, and the Platinum Providers list celebrates those that achieved an impressive average consumer rating of 9.0 or better on a scale of 10; an achievement accomplished by only 8.25% of rated facilities.
Consumer ratings serve an integral role in SignatureForum’s efforts to connect consumers with the best local service providers. After a guest has attended a consultation or undergone a treatment session, they are asked to share their opinions on the experience in the form of brief surveys provided by SignatureForum. Guests rate the clinic or medical spa on several different categories, including ambiance, quality of the consultation, and post-treatment satisfaction. Each of the ratings is then scored, weighted and combined to produce the guest’s overall satisfaction rate with the practice. SignatureForum’s Platinum Providers each received an average overall rating of 9.0 or better from replying guests in 2008. The Southeast region of the United States provided the greatest number of Platinum Providers with 12 of the 34 winning facilities, and American Laser Centers earned the most honors, with its locations representing over 80% of the list.
