Shootmyash General Manager, Conor Gilbreath, stated, "As we transition from limited production of SmartAsh Targets to the higher-volume requirements of big-box retailers and the international market development, our USA vendors are key to our success. Brown Wood can seamlessly scale from pilot runs to full production volume with their variety of CNC machines and vast experience. Our plan is to keep production in the USA for all sales domestic and worldwide. Made in America is not a marketing gimmick for us, but a company passion and in line with the times."
Gilbreath added, "We utilize as many local materials and vendors as possible. We will conduct final assembly in Pennsylvania, which includes electronics, final test, packaging and shipping. We are additionally certifying for the Buy American Act, which is governed by different agencies, the FTC and GSA, with different sets of country-of-origin component and labor compliance requirements for commercial and government markets."
