SEOP.com placed the domain name for sale or lease to the highest bidder.

Eric Schiffer, CEO at SEOP.com, said, "We decided to sell the domain to the party which would benefit most and essentially pay us fair value for the domain."
SEOP.com approached topseos.com in order to determine interest in ownership of the domain name due to the similarity to the brand name of topseos.com. Both parties reached mutual agreement in a financial transaction of $530k from topseos.com to SEOP.com with the result being ownership and control of the domain name being released to topseos.com.
