Three WSOPC Tunica Event Seats Added & Pro Poker Player Dennis Phillips Joins Team SPT
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — With the launch of the First Official Tournament Series for the Senior Poker Tour Jan 15th-19th at Horseshoe Casino Tunica, 3 WSOP Circuit entries are added as prizes to the 17 event series. The winner of the $550 SPT Championship will win an entry to the WSOPC Tunica Circuit Main Event (Value $1675) in addition to the prize money of the tournament itself. Additionally, the winners of the SPT $340 Omaha Hi/Lo Championship and $340 HORSE Championship will win entries to the WSOPC Omaha Hi/Lo and the WSOP Circuit HORSE events on January 28th and 29th respectively.

Professional poker player and industry ambassador Dennis Phillips has joined Team SPT and will attend the inaugural event along with Poker Hall Of Fame inductee Tom McEvoy, Pros Susie Isaacs, Marsha Waggoner and Mark Kroon. All will play various events as well as host an autograph meet and greet session. Both Tom and Mark are coming off of recent final table appearances on the Tournament Circuit.
Upcoming SPT series to be held at Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas in April and Atlantis Casino Resort in Reno in August.
