Programs Give Seniors Helpful Solutions
HOUSTON, June 5, 2009 — The Senior Citizens Bureau (SCB), the nation’s largest non-profit organization for seniors, with over 500,000 members, has established two new divisions: Funeral Planning and Support & Financial and Retirement Planning.
These two new divisions will bring an extensive library of resources to SCB members, with the goal of better educating and empowering their senior base. Some of these resources include articles, books, monthly newsletters and tips, podcasts, and webinars.
In addition, these new divisions will provide their senior members with several user-friendly directories. These directories offer quick and easy access to a wide variety of industry-leading companies, products and services, as well as an exclusive network of pre-screened professionals.
FuneralResources.com was exclusively chosen as the national partner to create the Funeral Planning and Support Division. Members can locate family-focused information and resources to help them become more educated and empowered regarding funeral planning. By helping families find the tools, resources, and answers they need, this helps SCB members become better equipped and confident regarding the many challenging aspects of funeral planning and preplanning.
In addition, SCB Members will also have access to five different funeral services directories, providing easy access to the best Pre-screened and Qualified(TM) industry professionals.
LocalAdvisorConnection.com was exclusively chosen to lead the Financial and Retirement Planning Division. SCB members will gain access to information, education, and pre-screened financial professionals, including financial advisors, estate planning attorneys, and CPAs covering the areas that matter most to seniors in creating the ideal retirement.
“These new divisions will provide a great resource of financial help and support from among the industry’s best professionals,” states Christopher P. Hill, founder and director of the two divisions. “Our goal is to continue building on the genuine care and support the SCB has been providing seniors for years.”
The SCB is always ready to assist seniors, and their new divisions are designed to be a call to action to the most pressing concerns of senior citizens.
