The show pits six teams of real estate investors against each other as they try to make the most profit by flipping foreclosed and distressed houses. The teams buy properties at auction, renovate the homes and sell them for a profit.

He appeared on pilot episodes numerous times last year.

"I am very excited to have been chosen as a local to represent the East Bay and Contra Costa County," said Eckstein, a licensed California real estate broker/owner of Service 1st Realty, based in Walnut Creek. All of the other teams are from other Bay Area locations.

He is amazed at the fast rebound of the Bay Area real estate market over the past eighteen months.

"I feel very confident by the upward trend of the real estate market," said Eckstein who is also marketing manager of a private money fund, LHJS Investments LLC, which lends cash to house flippers.

"I am well positioned to provide a variety of real estate investing services by having a private money fund which works with numerous top investors, builders and developers of the Bay Area," said Eckstein, who helps real estate investors identify key markets for cash flow properties, offers project consultations, and provides real estate management services.
