SAN DIEGO, March 24, 2009 — Five Point Capital, one of the nation’s leading equipment leasing firms, announced today that Greg Wells has been named Chief Executive Officer and President of the company, effective March 30th.
Wells is coming to Five Point Capital from Vistage International (http://www.vistage.com), the world’s leading chief executive development organization, based in San Diego. At Vistage, Wells was a member of the executive team and served in a range of general management, operations and sales leadership positions, most recently overseeing Vistage’s U.S. field operations which includes 375 Chairman and 9,000 executive members.
Prior to Vistage, Wells spent 18 years in leadership positions in the financial services industry, including Senior Vice President and Division Manager of Wells Fargo’s Southern California Business Banking Group. He also oversaw retail operations in several regions for Wells Fargo, including San Diego County and the Inland Empire.

A Southern California native, Wells is a graduate of the University of Oregon, the Pacific Coast School of Banking at the University of Washington and the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management program held at Dartmouth University.
Wells is involved in a number of community service organizations, including the San Diego International Sports Council, and he serves on the board of the Special Olympics of Southern California. He has previously been affiliated with other San Diego-based community service organizations, including the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl, LEAD San Diego, the Children’s Museum, the Better Business Bureau, and the United Way.
Wells resides in Poway with his wife, Kim, and their three daughters.
