KOLDING, Denmark, Oct. 31, 2011 — Bestnet A/S announced today that Robert N. Taylor, PhD has joined the company as Senior Scientist. Dr. Taylor has extensive international experience, with specific expertise as a public health entomologist.
He has held senior management positions with several large multi-national corporations in the insecticide industry in Europe and the U.S., and sales and marketing positions in the Middle East and the United Kingdom. According to Bestnet Director Torben Holm Larsen, "We are delighted to have Dr. Taylor joining Bestnet. His successful history of new product developments in the area of public health insecticides will provide Bestnet with a multi-talented addition to our staff."
Larsen continued, "Dr. Taylor has a broad knowledge of insecticides along with expertise in regulatory issues, formulation chemistry and field applications of products for use against pests of public health importance." Dr. Taylor has provided consultancy on product development, regulatory requirements and the successful application of public health insecticides throughout Asia Pacific.
In addition to a contributory role in Bestnet's product research & development efforts, Dr. Taylor's activities will include participation in various scientific/technical working groups and representing Bestnet on scientific committees, with the intent of strengthening Bestnet's relationships with international leaders in the world of public health.
