WHO: David Merlini, renowned escape artist who has transformed into the comic book hero Master Merlini, will perform a live page from the recently released ROK comic book Master Merlini. The master will save New York City from being destroyed by his nemesis Calagari by performing a live stunt. He has performed numerous live escape events such as escaping being embedded in frozen liquid nitrogen, as well as a dramatic breakaway from a block of concrete after being thrown in a river. He currently holds several records for his ability to hold his breath underwater with the longest time measured at 20 minutes.
What: Master Merlini will be shackled to a mine and dropped into the East River via helicopter. He will escape the chains and as he rises to the surface, he will diffuse the (prop) bomb, thus saving New York from destruction.
