Atlantic, a business technology and IT solutions provider, is hosting the event to show its customers and other local business owners how they can harness various tech solutions to boost productivity, reduce expenditures, and facilitate business continuity. The expo will include product demos, educational seminars, and a solution center, as well as a keynote address by Phil Simms, a CBS television sportscaster and former Super Bowl-winning Quarterback for the New York Giants.
Featuring food and cocktails, the Spring Product Expo kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast, registration, and morning exhibits. At 9:15 a.m., DATTO, Inc.'s CEO Austin McChord will host the day's first seminar, which focuses on BUDR (Backup and Disaster Recovery); a BUDR expert, McChord will explain how businesses can better protect their data and prevent expensive downtime.
Jim Lippie, EVP of Business Development at Independence IT, will host a cloud workspace seminar from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Lippie will cover the various advantages of cloud technology, including enhanced security, affordable off-site storage, and ease of use from mobile devices. Next, Atlantic's own CTO and VP of Sales, Bill McLaughlin and Rob Habeeb, will discuss their company's evolution from a copier distributor to a leading IT integrator.
At 12:30 p.m., attendees can eat lunch and browse the event's exhibits, before the Spring Product Expo's 1:30 p.m. seminar on document management. Hosted by Patti Kanner, the Managing Director of Records and Information Management at Atlantic, the session will guide attendees in transitioning from paper to electronic document management.
After the seminar, Simms will deliver the keynote from 3 to 4 p.m., with photo opportunities available from 4 to 5 p.m. Following Simms' keynote, the Spring Product Expo's afternoon exhibits will run through 7 p.m.
