On the high setting, they throw the aforementioned 4,000 lumens; on low, a beefy 2,000. Built to consistently provide light in any situation, the unit features a waterproof switch.
Each of the 9460’s masts extends to six feet, and the system is powered by a rechargeable battery that gives up to 7 hours of thermally efficient peak brightness and 14 hours in low-power mode. Just like the Pelican 9450B RALS, the 9460 RALS is contained within the nearly indestructible Pelican 1510 case, a watertight, dust-proof, crush-proof, corrosion-proof, chemical-resistant monster constructed of ultra-high-impact structural copolymer with a quarter-inch neoprene o-ring and ABS latches. Engineered for portability, the 9460 weighs in at just over 50 pounds and features a telescoping pull handle and polyurethane wheels with stainless steel ball bearings.
