NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa., Aug. 25, 2009 — The QuickHitch MouthGuard is a simple yet revolutionary enhancement to the “strapless” mouthguard that has been used by athletes for generations.
Two entrepreneurs from Delaware County, Pennsylvania, former high school and college football players themselves, watched many football games over the years where players pulled a strapless mouthguard from their mouths and tried several times before finally getting it jammed into a sometimes dirty spot on their facemask. The thought occurred: Why doesn’t one of the mouthguard manufacturers make a strapless mouthguard with a small hook or hitch on the front? The player would be able to hang it quickly, easily and keep it clean.
A new product was born and a patent was filed. An experienced mouthguard manufacturer was found in Colorado to create the QuickHitch MouthGuard. QuickHitch MouthGuard, LLC was formed to distribute the mouthguard and in the fall of 2009, athletes across the US have begun using it.
