October 29 Event Showcased Updates and Challenges for the Upcoming Medicare Data Validation Season
MILWAUKEE, Oct. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Medicare data validation (DV) auditors PSRx Advisors and MetaStar, Inc. held a one-hour webinar event on October 29 at which they discussed trends and challenges of the upcoming Medicare data validation season with nearly 30 attendees from PBMs and health plans across the country.

"We really wanted to share what we've learned over the most recent DV season as well as what we think is coming over the horizon," said Casurella.
Adds Cleary: "We were very sensitive to the fact that we're in the DV 'offseason' right now, which means we're restricted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) from doing anything that could be considered consultative. So while we didn't answer any specific questions, we did offer to pass along inquiries to CMS and share their response."
