Prosci Research Releases 2006 Version of the Change Management Pilot Professional

LOVELAND, Colo., Dec. 15, 2005 — Leading research firm Prosci (http://www.change-management.com) has released a new version of the Change Management Pilot Professional (CM Pilot Professional, http://www.change-management.com/cm-pilot-professional.htm) for 2006. The Web-based application enables business leaders to manage change with their employees while decreasing the stress and negative impacts typically associated with major business change.

With a focus on change management, Prosci has conducted research studies with over 900 organizations in 59 countries worldwide since 1994. "This research foundation has enabled Prosci to deliver holistic, easy-to-use tools that managers find easy to learn and apply," stated Jeff Hiatt, CEO and president of Prosci Research.

One such tool is the CM Pilot Professional. The application provides rapid access to the most recent research results, allowing managers to use proven techniques, tools and best practices for managing people during change. In addition to allowing the user to create a complete change management plan for an organization, the CM Pilot Professional offers assessments and presentations to make transitions easier for all employees, guidelines for managers and supervisors, and a plan to help executives become active and visible in their organizations – which is the leading factor in successful change management.

Accessible from any PC with an Internet connection, the CM Pilot Professional also provides over 20 downloadable planning templates, including communication plans, training plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans and resistance management plans. Users have access to more than 200 pages of Prosci's Change Management Toolkit, e-learning modules, the Employee's Survival Guide and the company's complete set of change readiness assessments.

Updates to the 2006 version of the CM Pilot Professional include new benchmarking data from Prosci's 2005 Best Practices in Change Management report, new assessments, new role descriptions for managers and supervisors, updated flight/risk model analysis, new tools, updated and improved presentations, and easier navigation.

"Prosci is, to my knowledge, the only program to offer specific tools, templates and methods to operationalize a change," stated Jim Schnaible, with the City of Albuquerque, N.M. "In use, the templates, worksheets, etc., have been extremely beneficial – much more so than the 'theoretically interesting' content of other publications."
