Parking Technology Provider Flash Valet's Recent Platform Updates Boast Even More Features for Hotels, Self-Park, and Event Locations

Entrepreneur Magazine "Brilliant Company" to Present at Chicago's National Parking Association Convention and Expo 2013

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — For those who have been keeping up with the mobile and cloud-based parking technologies leader Flash Valet, it comes as no surprise that Entrepreneur Magazine has included the company on its list of Brilliant Companies 2013. And to follow up on that success, Flash Valet proudly announces the release of its latest app version (fully compatible with iOS7 and Linea Pro 5 for the iPhone5/5S), a platform offering next-level functionality and convenience for a wide range of parking configurations. The addition of a self-parking module is one of the highlights of this platform's new app version – but it's not the only addition.  Flash Valet now offers features such as Arrivals List and Front Desk Notification for hotels, Valet Monthly Module for valet operations with monthly parkers, eParking integration with ParkWhiz for events, and more through its valet management system.

For the hospitality industry, the new features mean increased efficiency and a superior guest experience.  Hotels powered by Flash Valet now have the option to automatically upload the daily arrivals list to the secure Flash Valet app and portal– virtually eliminating revenue leakage for overnight vehicles. Plus, with the Front Desk Notification feature, Flash Valet can alert the front desk when a guest arrives at the curb so that they're ready to greet the guest (including any VIP or loyalty information).

For valet operations with monthly parkers, the Valet Monthly Module streamlines the management process and helps reduce costs by offering an alternative to paper tickets. Locations such as condos, surface lots, garages, and a variety of other venue types with monthly accounts can now manage the entire process (from parker registration to billing with credit card on file for recurring charges) using the secure Flash Valet app and portal.  Rather than paper tickets, Flash Valet supports a barcoded windshield decal and key tag system so valets can access (by simply scanning the barcode) an individual's account details, including vehicle movement and payment status. Plus, monthly parkers can also request their vehicle via text.

For event venues, Flash Valet's integration with ParkWhiz's eParking System allows consumers to find and pay for parking online and in advance while parking operators manage every facet of the operation (including revenue control, validations, and credit card acceptance) from a mobile device.  That means that you can buy parking for an event moments before arrival, and Flash Valet will have your reservation.

"We believe that innovation is a continuous process; that's why we listen closely to customer feedback and develop features that make Flash Valet an all-in-one solution for parking managers," explained Dean Cleaver, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Flash Valet. "We're especially pleased with the new self-parking module, which brings all of the benefits of our valet management solution to the self-parking environment."  This video highlights the key features available with the self-parking module, including the ability to track vehicles, offer pre-pay and post-pay scenarios, and process credit card payments—all from a mobile device.

Staying connected with the parking industry at large is one way that Flash Valet maintains its leadership position in the parking management and valet software world. Company representatives will proudly demonstrate the new features at Chicago's upcoming National Parking Association Convention and Expo 2013.
