The university will sponsor a free CE course on effective resume writing starting in April
TAMPA, Fla., March 15, 2012 — Jacksonville University, a leader in nursing education online, is proud to announce that it will once again be sponsoring a free nurse CEU (continuing education unit) course through Nurse.com. For 60 days beginning April 1, 2012, registered nurses will be able to complete Resumes: The Recruiter's Perspective – a $10 value – at no cost on Nurse.com.
Resumes: The Recruiter's Perspective helps RNs build the skills to craft resumes and cover letters that will make prospective employers take notice. The course can be taken conveniently online, and enables nurses to meet part of their recurring state continuing education requirements.
"This free CEU is our way of showing our gratitude to nurses for all the hard work they do," said Judith M. Erickson, PhD, CNS-BC, Dean of the School of Nursing at Jacksonville University. "It's our sincere hope that this gift will contribute to their career growth and make it easier for them to accrue the contact hours required to maintain their licensure.
