Global sales and marketing senior executive to lead signaling and SMS solutions company
TRUMBULL, Conn., July 20, 2009 — NewNet Communication Technologies today announced that its Board of Managers has named Ron Pyles as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Pyles previously served as President of Continuous Computing Corporation, a developer of hardware and software building blocks used by leading telecommunications equipment manufacturers, application developers and global carriers. At Continuous Computing he led the company through a period of remarkable revenue growth and market expansion. Previously Pyles held a variety of sales leadership and executive positions during a twenty-year career at AT&T. While there, he played a major role in change management and business process reengineering efforts. At the time he left AT&T, Pyles was serving as Vice-President, General Manager for a multi-state region. Recently, Pyles has served as a consultant to multiple early stage wireless application companies, helping them develop go-to-market strategies and fine-tune business plans.

Pyles succeeds Tom Gudsnuk as President and Chief Executive Officer. “Tom played a central role in the formation of NewNet, including the acquisition of the signaling and messaging product lines in 2007 as well as the recruitment of the current organization,” said Soltani. “Under his leadership and hard work, the business produced increased revenue last year and strengthened relationships with key customers. We would not be involved in this business today if it were not for Tom’s vision, energy and drive.”
