Media Industry Veteran David Kennedy Joins FlyCast as CEO

LANCASTER, Pa., April 17, 2009 — Today, FlyCast announced that David Kennedy has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Kennedy has over 35 years experience in the media industry, most recently as CEO and Vice Chairman of Interep, and previously as President and CEO of Susquehanna Media Corp. Sam Abadir, FlyCast's founder and current CEO, will assume Chairman and CTO roles.

"I've been involved with FlyCast for the past several years, initially as an investor, and I'm very excited now to more directly help this company continue to lead the mobile entertainment revolution," said Kennedy. "FlyCast's platform for addressing the rapidly growing mobile customer base is compelling, and increasingly, providers of content recognize the imperative and value of a presence on mobile devices. Having seen the company's roadmap, it's clear to me that both consumers and content providers are going to benefit from the remarkable advances that FlyCast will bring to the market in the very near future. I couldn't be more pleased with the opportunity to work closer than ever now with Sam and his team to execute on such an exciting vision of the future for digital media."

David Kennedy began his career with Susquehanna Radio Corp. as a staff announcer at WLQR-Toledo in 1973, subsequently holding a series of station and corporate positions, including Director of Program Research, Vice President of Planning and Research and in 1995 became President and COO of the company. Kennedy was named President and CEO of parent company Susquehanna Media Co. in 2004, overseeing all of its media holdings including its Internet operations, until the sale of the radio and cable businesses to Cumulus Media Partners and Comcast (respectively) in a multi-billion-dollar transaction in 2006.

Kennedy has been one of the broadcast industry's most active leaders. He is a past chairman of the National Association of Broadcasters Joint Board of Directors, and has served as chairman or member of a number of NAB committees, including the Radio Board of Directors; Responsible Programming Industry Task Force; Financial Advisory Committee; Committee on Local Radio Audience Measurement (COLRAM); and Radio Audience Measurement Taskforce (RAMTF).
