LWP Claims Solutions Announces Partnership With DataCare Corporation

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 16, 2009 — LWP Claims Solutions, Inc. (http://www.lwpclaims.com), a leading third-party administrator, announces its partnership with DataCare Corporation (http://www.datacare.com) for document imaging, management, workflows and storage.

DataCare's Ahshay solution works collaboratively with LWP's proprietary claims management system to provide a paperless workflow in a secure and reliable environment.

With the DataCare solution, LWP is able to capture the mail at the claim file level the moment that indexing is complete. This allows LWP to be more proactive in their handling and speed the flow of information between all parties to the claim. As a TPA, LWP services a large number of carrier and self-insured clients, each with unique requirements and workflows. The DataCare system is flexible and can be tailored. This has allowed LWP to create a highly customizable version to meet their particular business needs, as well as the needs of their clients.

"DataCare provides us with the ability to immediately view all claim mail upon receipt," said Judy Adlam, President & CEO of LWP. "In the old paper environment we would have to wait for the adjuster to review the mail and the file clerk to file it before it was available in the claim file. And, even then, it was only available for viewing in the handling office. Now the mail becomes available for viewing by the entire organization once it has been indexed to the claim file. Further, DataCare's one-click feature allows us to share mail with our clients and vendor partners with the touch of a button. We feel that this capability allows us to handle our claims more efficiently, effectively and accurately, while speeding our ability to communicate vital information to other parties to the claim. The DataCare system allows us a superior method of collecting and storing our documents in a secure manner. By having redundancy of stored images, and the ability to access our documents via the Internet, we have further enhanced our ability to continue our operation in the event of a disaster. We feel that the DataCare system has allowed us to surpass our competitors in the area of document management and allows our clients to receive even better service and results."
