Local Burger Restaurants Cook Up Support for West Texas Explosion Victims with New Fundraising Campaign "Burgers 4 West"

Chop House Burgers, Grease Monkey of Arlington to participate on April 28

ARLINGTON, Texas, April 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — In response to the fertilizer plant explosion in West, Texas, local Arlington, Texas burger restaurants are coming together to raise funds for those affected by this tragedy. Chef Kenny Mills of Chop House Burgers supported by Wheeler Advertising have launched the Burgers 4 West campaign.

The Burgers 4 West campaign is a fundraising effort designed for an unlimited number of burger restaurants to facilitate donations to the community of West, Texas. On April 28,2013, participating establishments are requested to donate proceeds from burger sales during the course of their respective events. Participants are also encouraged to engage their social media channels using the hash tag #burgers4west to help promote and create uniformity for the campaign.

Current contributors include:
Chop House Burgers
Chop House Burgers will be hosting the event in their Chop House Steak and Seafood Restaurant and parking lot at 2230 W. Park Row Suite A Pantego, Texas on April 28 from 11am- 4pm.  This event will also include live music.
All burger sales proceeds including costs will be donated.

The Grease Monkey of Arlington
The Grease Monkey will also be participating in the Burgers 4 West event at 200 N. Mesquite, Arlington, Texas on April 28 from 11am- 4pm.
All burger sales profits will be donated.

All funds raised will go to the Salvation Army for Victims of the West, Texas Fertilizer Plant Explosions that occurred on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
