Lo Kram’s ‘The Kite and the Kingdom’ to Be Featured at 2009 BookExpo America May 28 – 31

New York City Hosts Fifth Annual New Title Showcase for Up-and-Coming Authors

NEW YORK, May 21, 2009 — Lo Kram, author of “The Kite and the Kingdom: Getting Crisis Under Control” (published by iUniverse), brings his debut novel to the fifth annual New Title Showcase at New York’s BookExpo America (BEA), held May 28 – 31.

Divided into five sections, “The Kite and the Kingdom” uses a conversation between father and son as a springboard for a philosophical discussion examining human progress – both economic and social – and proposes different methods for resolving financial crisis and making the world a better place to live.

Kram’s messages are concise and intense. His no-nonsense, accessible format offers readers the chance to look at economics, capitalism and the current recession in a new light. Although the characters are fictional, their dialogue is thought-provoking, well-researched and relevant to current events. Gain a deeper understanding of gross domestic product and the role it plays in the worldwide economy in the pages of “The Kite and the Kingdom.”

Lo Kram has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in finance. He also holds a degree in international business law and a master’s in township management from the University of Paris. He has traded billions of dollars worth of commodities. Kram was an Italian national before becoming a French citizen. “The Kite and the Kingdom: Getting Crisis Under Control” is his first book.
