Every day more and more people join the ranks of the unemployed, compelling the nonprofit “The Lion Foundation Inc.” to create a new opportunity: a free study program for job-seekers, existing and new inventors
DANIA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 17, 2009 — The Lion Foundation Inc. today announced it is opening the first “Inventor’s School” in the USA. The study program consists of creative thinking processes, development of new ideas, and the practical approach of converting an idea or invention into a successful product.
The school offers methods of creative thinking, a 15-hour basic study program teaching the practical process of converting an idea or invention into a successful product, workshops, and a students network. The classes will be available in-class for job-seekers in Florida and over the Internet nationwide. Classes will be presented by Dr. Nissan Shukrie, an inventor, innovator and the author of the book “From Brainstorming to The Bank,” a practical guide that masters the process of invention development.
“The existing employment agencies cannot meet the increased demand. People are seeking alternatives,” says Dr. Shukrie, The Lion Foundation founder and managing director. “There is no employment solution for the level of skill of the current job-seeker. Job-seekers must take control over their future and utilize their own knowledge and experience. Our study program offers a fresh approach to doing that.”
According to Dr. Shukrie, at the end of the program each individual will be able to approach the job market, including the company he worked for, with a complete concept or product, packaged in such a manner as to benefit both himself and the company. This is a cost-saving function to companies as it eliminates their research and development costs.
The school program will also teach each participant how to become a business-owner and how to market his innovative product or idea worldwide.
“Individuals will gain effective tools to help them get back into the workforce. Businesses will be able to evaluate new products and concepts without research and development costs. The community will benefit from new products, new business and new job opportunities created by the new needs. Development of new products involves many service providers such as engineers, manufacturers, lawyers, marketing people, web designers, PR, news and media, sales and more. It is a win-win situation,” Dr. Shukrie stated.
