What Are the Leading Coaching Minds Saying about the Future of Coach Training?

ACTO 2013 Conference Will Be Held in Orlando Starting Friday

ORLANDO, Fla., April 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Many of the leading minds in the coach training profession will be converging on the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at Sea World for the Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO) 2013 Conference titled "The Leading Edge" on April 19–21, 2013.  These knowledgeable, energetic, fun people, who are experts in their field, will be gathering to discuss some of the weighty issues facing their profession such as the ethics of coach training, multicultural coaching, assessor training, as well as, neuroscience and coaching.

There will be leader representation from 33 coach training organizations coming together to participate in the discussions. They will have the task of voting for the nominees who are standing for election for the 2013 ACTO Board of Directors, the next group of leaders to move ACTO forward in the year ahead.  It won't be all work for the members; there will be plenty of time for fun, relaxation and conversation with coaching colleagues.

Eight coach training institutions came together in 1999 to form an alliance that was to become ACTO. It has now grown to fifty-five member organizations.  ACTO's primary goal is to is to be the steward of high quality coach education and training.
