BOSTON, Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Diagnosed with a life-threatening condition at the age of 9, Nicole's life has been turned upside down. Now at 16 years of age, Nicole is battling with brittle diabetes and gastro intestinal issues and is constantly in and out of the hospital.

After postponing her wish a full year due to hospitalization, Nicole was overjoyed to have her ultimate wish to meet Theresa Caputo of TLC's Long Island Medium, fulfilled in New York City this Holiday Season. Nicole was treated to an all expense paid trip to NYC, complete with a dinner cruise and city tours. On the morning of her wish she enjoyed breakfast with her family at Pershing's Square in the heart of Midtown followed by a trip to Saks 5th Avenue where she was treated to a makeover. Free People at the Rock Center provided two personal stylists to outfit her for the event that evening. Nicole's stylist Jeremy said, "…this was such an awesome experience. We are so glad Free People could be a part of Nicole's wish."
Before attending Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo's show, Live! The Experience, Nicole and her family had dinner with Theresa and the entire crew. After dinner Theresa invited Nicole back to her fitting room to hang out and chat during hair and makeup. Here Nicole received a surprise personal reading from Theresa. The family enjoyed front row seats to the show and attended the after event party hosted by Theresa.
