The International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA) Announces New Board of Directors for 2013-2014

The leading trade organization for virtual assistants worldwide welcomes five new members to most internationally diverse board of its 12-year history

HENDERSON, Nev., April 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — During the recent election, members of the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA) voted to fill board vacancies. IVAA welcomes five new Board Members from three different countries. This internationally diverse board for 2013-2014 is comprised of seven Americans, three Canadians and one Venezuelan.

Newly elected Directors are Susan Amdur-Coburn of Kinnelon, New Jersey; Electra Ford of Mablevale, Arkansas; Dessire Izaguirre of San Antonio de los Altos, Miranda, Venezuela; Mimi Klosterman of Brandon, South Dakota; and Theresa Scholes of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

The Board Members of IVAA serve a three-year-term and oversee various departments in this volunteer-run association. Along with dedicated Virtual Assistant volunteers from all over the world, the IVAA Board ensures the smooth running of member services, education, certification and providing public resources such as requests for proposals (RFPs) so business owners can find their ideal virtual assistant.

IVAA is in the final planning stages for its annual LIVE Summit Conference in Philadelphia, PA at the ACE Conference Center which is being held April 30th to May 3rd  www.live.ivaa.org. Annual Events such as this offer more training for IVAA members as well as networking opportunities in person.
