Goldvarg, Moritz and Barr elected officers; Oliver and Petrauskiene join as directors
LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Elections for the International Coach Federation (ICF) 2014 Global Board of Directors have been finalized with the naming of this year's Vice Chair, Meryl Moritz (USA), and Secretary/Treasurer, Peter Barr (Australia). Supporting 2014 ICF Global Chair Damian Goldvarg, Ph.D. (Argentina/USA), Moritz and Barr will work with a team of six directors, including newly elected Global Board members Hilary Oliver (United Kingdom) and Leda Turai Petrauskiene (Lithuania), to lead the advancement of the coaching profession.

Goldvarg, who served as 2013 ICF Global Chair, was elected to a second term in November 2013. He is an ICF Master Certified Coach with more than 15 years of Executive Coaching experience. He has supported the ICF over the years in a number of roles at the Chapter and Global levels.

Moritz, an ICF Master Certified Coach, has been a member of the ICF Global Board since 2010, serving as vice chair in the final third of 2013 and as a vice president in 2011 and 2012. She is founder and president of Meryl Moritz Resources. Before entering the profession, she spent a decade as an executive in international corporations and another decade as a management consultant.
"ICF increases its global footprint daily, and I am passionate about serving as an ambassador for our organization and profession as we create awareness of professional coaching and its value worldwide," Moritz said.
Barr, an ICF Master Certified Coach, has been a member of the ICF Global Board since 2013. He is the founder and visionary of Ingenius People (formerly Ingenius Coaching), and has 12 years of experience coaching high-level achievers in corporations, businesses, sport and life to peak performance. He spent 17 years as a certified public accountant and executive.
"As a seasoned accounting professional and experienced coach, I hope to bring a practical, pragmatic approach to the financial stewardship of our organization by closely collaborating with ICF's professional finance team to ensure the most effective, prudent and strategic use and reporting of our resources," Barr said.
Oliver and Petrauskiene, the new additions to the 2014 Global Board, were elected to two-year terms in November 2013. Oliver is an ICF Professional Certified Coach with more than 30 years of experience in a wide range of business sectors and executive positions and more than a decade of experience as an Executive and Leadership Coach. Petrauskiene is an ICF Professional Certified Coach who specializes in Executive and Leadership Coaching and has accrued more than 15 years of international work experience in for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
