LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6, 2009 — Italian Web designer, art director and photographer Nicola Geretti announced today the release of his new website http://www.Geretti.com. Geretti now offers a full lineup of services including Web development, design and publishing, video editing, CGI, photography and print.
Nicola Geretti originally worked in Italy with fashion firms and gaming companies. Starting with industrial design, he incorporated Flash as a tool to communicate powerful messages through the Web. Seeing the need for an easy way to update photos and videos on clients’ websites, he developed a Flash engine called “SlashImage” which dramatically decreased maintenance costs while increasing speed and user-friendliness. “SlashImage” allows users to log in and update their photos, videos and Web content to be instantly published to their website. Eliminating the need for a middleman, users can easily log in to the online system and update content 24/7.
“My new website will cater to professionals in diverse industries with a common goal. To create a world class image through online, video and print media,” said Geretti. “High impact visual branding is top priority in all of my projects.”
After moving to Los Angeles, CA, Geretti expanded to Video Editing tools and Animation, widening his clientele spectrum to cater to the Hollywood Entertainment Industry.
He now has a studio in Venice, CA where he covers from pre-production to final delivery of a product, whether it be a TV Series, a social networking website or a business’ brochure.
Geretti currently develops the image and online presence for several Hollywood television productions. His clients include small- to big-budget TV productions, small businesses, on-camera talent, photographers, models, makeup artists, painters, designers, social networks, stock exchange, online stores and more.
Nicola Geretti was inspired to merge technology and entertainment during his Professional Gamer career. He started playing video games professionally in 2000 with the Italian community and quickly distinguished himself as a skilled gamer. After winning local competitions with his first-person shooter of choice, “Unreal Tournament,” he scored a World Title at the World Cyber Games 2003 Grand Finals in Seoul, Korea. Attracting sponsors and signing deals, he was able to continue competing and going to the most critically acclaimed competitions around the world. His expertise as a professional video gamer allowed him to discover the ever-growing gaming industry as a performer and as a businessman when he started managing his own Italian team.
The new site will continue updating “SlashImage” news, clients and photography campaigns via http://www.Geretti.com.
