Supply Chain Veteran Combines Deep Industry Expertise with Customer and Company Knowledge to Drive Future Growth and Market Expansion
CAMPBELL, Calif., Sept. 1, 2009 — ICON-SCM, a global leader in supply chain planning and collaboration software, today announced that J. Spencer Miller has been promoted to president and CEO. Miller has been with the company since 2002 and combines company knowledge with extensive supply chain industry expertise. In his new role, Miller will be focusing on strategic growth, ongoing customer service excellence and market expansion.

Founder and former co-CEO Michael Keppler will now serve as chairman of the Board and continue his focus on the company’s wide range of strategic initiatives. Founder and former co-CEO Kurt Manchenn will also serve on the Board and as acting CFO.
Before being named as CEO of ICON-SCM, Miller served as vice president of Strategy and Operations at ICON-SCM and implemented standardized processes and procedures across the company’s multi-national locations to bring efficiency and cohesiveness to the organization. Prior to joining ICON-SCM, Miller served many years as manager within the SCM Practices at Deloitte Consulting and PWC, working with Fortune 500 executives to improve their global supply chains. Miller began his career in the automotive manufacturing sector where he gained direct experience with managing global supply chains with large multi-tiered supplier networks. Miller obtained his MBA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, consistently recognized as one of the top two supply chain MBA programs in the United States.
